Chuck, I like to look at this issue in a different context. Israel is like the Byzentine Empire. It stood against the Turkic and Isalmic invasion West Anatolia and Balkans for centuries. The West European Powers not only did not appreciate it but istigated by the Republic of Venice, sacked Contantinopoli. Fall of the City saw the Turks an the gate of Vienna in less than 200 years. Israel is the only element of stability in the Middle East. It is a fortress the represent the Western Interest and values, Israel needs to be assisted. If not we, will have the Brabrians at the gate! We got a fortaste of that on 7-11. Things can get worse.
