I agree with you. As a culture (an American culture) I would like to be able to convince them as a group that there are some things they must do to break what I view as a negative cycle though. I don't want to be too general because I know some brilliant black people. But there is a segment of their group (a fairly large one) that is dragging them down when it comes to fostering a good family unit and education.
