The same articles you cited also noted that Zarqawi had expertise in poison gas, and trained others in its use. You don't pick up such knowledge in a high school chem lab. The local Afghan mujahadeen didn't have this knowledge. Who taught Zarqawi? Who could have taught him? AQ did poison gas experiments in Afghanistan, who taught them? This is where every intelligence agency saw the hand of another intelligence agency - if you want to track connections, track the money and the training.
