Umm.... we still have some isolated occurrences. My recollection is that the occur from bad records in folder_links. Rare, but they do still occur. Project 1212 - PM's not addressed to the user being in folder The counter in top sees them, but the Inbox query filters them from the resultset. One way of creating this is to file a PM from yourself into a folder, and then to Return it to the Inbox. The brain cells that know the other scenarios have long since moved on.

Curently I am holding 1 private message. A good deal of the replies to my messages are not appearing in my inbox. I have to go back to the thread that I posted on an scan all the messages from the time I posted to see if I got a reply. I first noticed this at the end of last year when I missed a post on an obscure thread. I found the post a couple weeks later when I revisited the site and it never appeared in my inbox.
