re: CA pays a steep price for its cheap labor. Can you replace the cheap labor? Do the jobs you need done get done? Or does the cost of those jobs double, or more? If you have a guess worker program, do you capture more taxes from the wages... that help defray the services? Lots of questions. I know they could shut down illegal immigration over night. Just pass a law where the business owner that hires an illegal will go to jail for a year. Second offense 3 years. But what's the net result? Crops dying in the fields? John
