One just has to wonder what the situation would have been for Terri had Michael let the staff continue aggressive rehab from 1993 forward. The two reports I mentioned earlier, seem to have a differing story in the 1992 and 1993 timeframe, but both seem to agree that when Michael and therefore Terri received the malpractice money, he changed.

Who knows...maybe he really is a saint for putting up with the situation for so long. Then again, doesn't sound like it in not only the link you posted from the Wolfson Report, nor from various sources we are hearing about.

I can't understand why he didn't divorce her. Especially after he began his new life with another woman, and then had a family with two kids with her.

It won't matter soon. Terri will die. Finally. And not a 'good death.' Michael will have to live with that forever if he didn't do everything possible for her.

Thanks again for sending this link....

Michaels attitude and perspective changed in 1994. see page 10 in the report

Early 1994, Terri had an uninary tract infection...they did not treat it and had orders 'do not resusciate'...as well as he cancelled the orders the nursing staff initiated as an intervention. He had her transferred
to another SNF...
