We talked about Taiwan quite abit while I traveled in Taiwan and China. Most believe the Taiwanese want time for the mainland political system to mature.

We had sales offices in Taipei and Kouhsiung so I spent alot of time in Taiwan. No one I talked with really beleives there will be a war and as the two economies become more integrated, the problem kind of goes away. Much like HK.

Last year, my sales manager quit in Kouhsiung and went to work in Shanghai. When I flew over to meet with him, he mentioned there was more opportunity on the mainland and many of his friends were leaving Taiwan. Not the least bit concerned about a war.

IMO, the problem will take care off itself in time
