Wow
the Sex Lives of Cannibals was really good. I wish it had lasted longer. :-(

I would not want to go to Kiribati, but I'm glad Mr. Troost went. He even seemed to enjoy himself. I'm nor sure how he did that, but I'm glad he did.

Mr. Troost seems like a fairly liberal guy, which makes his book especially fun for liberals, since he is a sweet natured funny liberal guy, and obviously takes life pretty easy. I wouldn't think it is the kind of book conservatives would enjoy, too bad for them. They'll have to content themselves with angry Ann Coulter- who would never go anywhere as interesting as Kiribati.

I have included a link to the Kiribati flag. There is no LAND on the Kiribati flag- for a very good reason. I also did not know that the battle of Tarawa was fought in this region- my dad had talked about the battle of Tarawa, but I never really managed to anchor it anywhere- and I never thought to look up Kiribati on a map before now.
