Not entirely. The problem with school shootings is too rare at this point to consider having an armed law enforcement presence. But I do feel that someone of authority with a firearm is a good thing when some nut is shooting everyone up. You must agree with that, right?

It is not my strategy. In your skimming of the exchange with fresca (who hates guns and anyone who owns them) you mis-interpretted my point. He says guns are useless. I say that one would have been useful in the right hands in this case. Letting nuts shoot innocents until they run out of ammo makes no sense to me.

He also goes way, way further and suggests people "like ME" are the ones that cause these events. Surely an ugly and dishonest swipe at all who believe in our 2nd amendment.

Sad is a under statement! I bet schools will arm themselves even more after this last disaster.
