With the FED attempting to fight it all the way.


So if you too think it is a long term grinding down like I do then we are only at disagreement in whether it can possibly begin with long term interest rates at 50 year lows. Also I do not think Greenspan will care about protecting the housing bubble unless it is a major collapse on a broad scale. For now I would guess he is looking at the dollar and inflation with a desire to break the back of the speculative atmosphere in preconstruction developments dominated by flippers/speculators which is just another misallocation of capital similar to the dot bombs.
