Man, I really get nervous when I have to agree with EVERYTHING in the last few posts IE.....Yesterday vs. Today..........08:50 SUNW Sun Microsystems pushing hard to try and make Street estimates - BofA (4.03 ) Banc of America believes that SUNW is having a tough qtr and pushing hard to try and make Street ests (co does not give guidance). Firm says feedback from industry contacts is that the high- and mid-range are weak, while volume/demand is reasonable in the 480 and below. Opteron-based servers are gaining incremental traction, though it won't help make a significant dent in potential rev challenges. Firm notes they have been looking at SUNW as a potential turn-around story, but sees no evidence that rev growth or cost cuts are enough to move to a more bullish posture. Remains Neutral.
