Funny, but the polls I've seen indicate that 60%-70% of mainstream Americans don't agree with this Republican grandstanding on the Terri issue. Most Americans want the federal govt. out of such a personal decision. What ever happened to the old conservative principals of getting govt. off our backs and limited govt?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but there are a lot of people in America who view the Religious Right as Religious wackos who are trying to force their views on the rest of us. There are plenty of ways to learn about things like creationism, such as Sunday school and cadacism. Why must it also be taught in public schools where children of all backgrounds are present? I think mainstream America is starting to get tired of getting pushed around by religious conservatives. I know it was the other way around for decades, but now the religious wackos are in control of our govt. and the backlash will be against them this time around. They're trying to meddle too much in other people's affairs.
