Like I said, this is a big problem and getting bigger. Get a health proxy and draft a living will. They are one page forms you can do for yourself with a notary.

You suspect the husband because its politically expedient for you to do so. You haven't bothered to get the facts but rather you depend on your heroes to do the thinking for you.
