"Either that or it's time to move to that paradise called East Germany!" Your comment is gratuitous, irrelevant, and absurd. Germany has the lowest murder rate per capita in the world (in the top 50 countries) excepting New Zealand. The US, by contrast is tied with Uruguay and ahead of Zimbabwe! When a country shows a huge separation between rich and poor, and has consistently high crime statistics--especially violent and lethal crimes--and where it spends inordinate resources on prosecution and imprisonment of citizens...it is a naive or dishonest person who will attempt to disguise those facts by gratuitous and false attacks against other nations. I love the United States and I love their people. But I do not overlook their faults nor cease to question why they CHOOSE such inequality--and the natural (and costly)concomitant of rampant crime. You ride a high horse that crawls from one trail to the next. A high horse that cannot walk, trot, canter, or gallop: a crawling high horse! HA!
