had to read back to get some context. My focus wasn't on Enron but was on my lovely state of california. Our state officials were busy pointing fingers at enron and other energy wholesalers when the california energy crisis that we had a couple of years ago was a direct result of their (mainly Grey Davis) policies. My point was that Enron, though guilty of their own set of corrupt behavior, was not the main issue. It was our own government policies that caused the problems we were experiencing and Enron just exploited them.

the simple answer to your question is No.
