No... you miss understand me.if the chinese were half as clever as they are supposed to be would they be sitting on tons of potentially worthless paper....knowing that if they hold it it will loose value but that if they sell it it will loose that value even quicker.And as for that debt being a gun pointed at our heads ......well do not count on it....should china ,fore example ,invade taiwan japan,england ,america and europe might just close the markets ...bank holidays all around....like Roosevelt did when the gold standard was revoke and all clauses calling for payment in gold nullified.What would china do if it found there was no place to dump its dollars?
And are not we americans the ones who have convinced the world for28 years that our paper is as good as gold and in the proccess being subsidized in every endevor we undertake by those who would happily see us fall.And one day we will fall ,but we will have the satisfation of taking everyone with us.So who is the bigger fool....imho
