Maybe it got filtered out by SI or maybe it is still on its way. I am at an Internet place in Paris where things do not work well at times.

Would you please just not post to me? you make me kind of sick.

Har har har,

I just read the last 20 or so posts beginning with diana's and ending with tommasso's and I have to wonder, what kind of gossipy little knitting society is this BBR now? "He was mean to me, ooh." "I find him rather arrogant." "You make me sick"???? Hoo law. Where is Marlon Brando when you need him to slap Al Martino (Johnny Fontaine) around and say, "You could be a man!" LOL.

This new group (okay, there are some oldies as well), is this really such an incredible group of whiners and complainers? Amazing.

All because Slider had the temerity (along with JimP and others) to state the other side of this oil bull issue??

Is this a koffee klatsch or an information exchange? Do you want to cheer each other off the cliff or make money?

Jim cautioned about cycles, Slider appeared and made a strong case about a top in oils (and the homeboys), a case which, in the intermediate term (2 weeks) appears to have some merit.

My personal view, expressed at the time, was not to call tops or bottoms, but to react to clear chart signals and use stops. People who want to argue fundamentals against signals have already paid and will continue to pay, as per these two charts:

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyiay[pb50!b20!f][vc60][iut!Lah10,30,5!Lc20]&pref=G

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyiay[pb50!b20!f][vc60][iut!Lah10,30,5!Lc20]&pref=G

You guys ought to be encouraging every single counter opinion here; you don't have to respond, you don't have to take it personally--this is Cyberspace, after all. But you need contrary opinion a whole lot more than more cheerleading, that's for sure.

Big Dog, say it ain't so.

LOL,

Kb

Yes, it is true that BRY is 25 percent off its highs, but it was up more than 100 percent from where I bought it last summer.

I guess if I had 100 percent perfect foresight I would do things differently, but it seems best to me to avoid getting whipsawed and to avoid taxes the best I can by waiting until I can get the 15 percent tax rate.
