So basically your idea is that military action is only justified if CNN is showing you pictures of suffering on TV, right that minute?

At the time of our invasion, there was nothing going on within Iraq that came even close to warranting an invasion.


Did you ever ask the opinion of the Shia or the Marsh Arabs about that? Whoops, I forgot, CNN wasn't showing the pictures of the destruction of their environment or thousands going into prisons and mass graves. Sorry, doesn't count unless it's on CNN.

This isn't a foreign policy, this is Pavlovian responses. You must have loooved Clinton's foreign policy, he ran it this way.

But remember, it was Clinton's foreign policy that emboldened Osama bin Laden to do the 9/11 attacks, sure that the response would be another feckless round of cruise missiles.
