I witness the suffering and pain of physically normal and 'happy' people on a daily basis. Here we have a disabled person who by all appearances seems relatively happy in her situation. We have decided letting a mother who loves her and is willing to feed and care for her is too cruel and inhumane. So, in our benevolence, we must slowly kill her by starving her to death. Restrain the mother behind a glass wall so's she can watch us do our good work. "We are the only society in the history of mankind that would keep a vegetable like this alive " We are the only society in history to have accomplished many things. I am getting old now, so I have seen across several generations how human beings are able to justify their inhuman treatment, torture, or death for fellow human beings (Usually by young folks who believe that will increase their lot somehow). "A noble man compares and estimates himself by an idea which is higher than himself; and a mean man, by one lower than himself. The one produces aspiration; the other ambition, which is the way in which a vulgar man aspires." (Marcus Aurelius AD 161 to 180) One hundred percent of the time, I have seen the same format: YOU must dehumanize and objectify your victim, as in: Gerry, Nip, Jap, Nigger, Spic, Pinko, Spook, Retard, vegetable There will be others, maybe some day you will qualify for a new objective label, ETC, etc, etc... The cowards in the judicial system have passed the buck until it no longer seems to exist. Don't let it bother you, Terri is not a human being, only a means to a political end. Happy posting, Jewel
