But the red states are not where most of the wealthy live. What gives? Why they can't just raise the tax rates for those at the top earning a million plus. The disparity between the workers and the entertainers, professional athletes and corporate execs has never been greater and most of these new elite are probably democrat. Shaq, Oprah, Michael Eisner,Christine Aguillera give me a break. Raising their taxes to the 50% bracket might only pay for a month of fighting in Iraq but it's a start.
