Its Minnesota. Regardless, this massacre sounds an awful lot like the Columbine massacre. The kid fascinated with Nazis like the Columbine shooters. And that happened in a white upper income community. Nah, the shooting wasn't an Indian thing - it was like the other school shootings we've had.

The terms "Native" and "Alaska Native" are standard here. "Indian" is awkward because we also have Eskimos and Aleuts.

When I think of "Indian" it's the Sikh in a turban who runs the local dry-cleaning shop, or the woman in Bangalore who answers the phone when I have a PC warranty problem.
