Consumer is being routed, and everybody is oblivious, a reread of the market history July-Oct. 1929 may be in order.:

The Rasmussen Consumer Index and the Rasmussen Investor Index both fell to six month lows on Thursday.

More shorts, including my AN pick from yesterday.

PVN's chart still looks too solid, although can't imagine why. Less shorting against it (4.4%). ACF's better, but there's already an 8.7% short against it. 24 congestion lid? Would like to see a little money flow red (bearish divergence), as it hit 24 on low volume.

COF is breaking through support this AM, I'd like to see volume expand some here at least three million.

Here's a good put buy, no premium, thinly traded, but I managed to get 10 May 20's bought at only 1.25, with the stock at 18.95. High volume alerts, and now a low volume "rally" attempt:

What a phony looking rally attempt this morning. The Fed did a pretty decent repo injection of $9 billion with nothing expiring, so that may explain it in part, besides the regular ramp jobs.
