What the hell kind of an argument is that????

The rest of my statement was "So, what do we do about that when we can't ascertain someone's wishes with certainty?" Do you want to take a stab at it? We have millions of people facing end of life. They fall into four rough categories. 1. Those who want to live and have clearly so declared. 2. Those who want to die and have clearly so declared. 3. Those who want to live but haven't so indicated. 4. Those who want to die but haven't so indicated. We know what to do with categories one and two. The problem is what to do with categories three and four. Florida came up with a system that called for trying to divine their wishes through hearsay and various other means and act accordingly. You, apparently, don't approve of it.

So, if you don't like the current system, what system would you devise for attending to the rights of the threes and the fours?
