Moller, President of Moller International, Inc. (MI) (OTC Pink Sheets: MLER.PK) issued the following statement regarding the SEC's Litigation Release No. 17987 (February 19, 2003): "On October 12, 2001, the Company was contacted by the Fort Worth District Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission and was asked to voluntarily provide a large volume of documents and information regarding the Company and its activities. On October 15, 2001, our attorney responded to the SEC, promising prompt and full cooperation with the SEC request. Subsequently, more than 1,000 pages of documents were submitted to the SEC on or about October 31, 2001. The SEC specifically acknowledged that the Company's cooperation was both complete and timely. "As stated in the Company's Form 10-SB and subsequent 10Q filings, MI determined that, rather than engage in lengthy and expensive litigation with the SEC, it was in the best interests of the Company and its shareholders to settle the investigation at an early stage without admitting or denying any violations of the securities laws. Accordingly, in March 2002, the Company and Dr. Moller signed a Stipulation and Consent (to Permanent Injunction) and Final Judgment that were prepared by the SEC staff. This settlement was fully disclosed by the Company last year in its amended 10-SB as well as its 10Q reports. In February 2003, the SEC formally accepted, with minor changes, the settlement which it had proposed nearly eleven months earlier. "The Company has been engaged in development of the Skycar over the past 20 years. As our employees, shareholders and members of the press and scientific community know, the Skycar prototype has been displayed and demonstrated on several occasions, including the recent successful tethered test flight on August 24, 2002. A video of the test flight is available for viewing at www.moller.com." Dr. Branko Sarh, coordinator of the World Aviation Congress technical sessions stated today, "After seeing the video of your Skycar's first hover flight, I was impressed with the level of technology which represents a significant achievement and represents a high level of technical expertise. This displayed the practical potential for a marketable design using vertical take-off and landing capabilities." Finally, because the Litigation Release may create some confusion regarding the Company's current patents, we refer to a summary received from the Company's patent counsel, Oppenheimer, Wolff & Donnelly, LLP, on February 21, 2003 regarding the existing MI domestic and foreign patents related to the Skycar: Country Granted Pending Australia 2 -- Canadian 1 3 European 1 3 France - 1 German 1 -- International -- In progress Israel 1 1 Japan 2 2 Korea -- 1 New Zealand -- 1 United Kingdom 2 1 United States 7 1 CONTACT: Bruce Calkins of Moller International, Inc., +1-530-756-5086.
