I don't think it's OK in any case. But, China is not nearly as big an imperial power as the U.S. We've killed around 1.5 Million Iraqis since 1990. Is that OK with you? Our bombing of their water systems and infrastracture in 1990 and sanctions from 1990 to 2003, killed over a million, the wars have killed 100,000s more. That is a direct result of our imperial ambitions for their oil.

The ironic thing is that as we destroy Iraq's infrastructure, our own infrastructure suffers from decades of neglect, receiving a paltry D rating in a recent survey by engineers. Now, is that the way a 1st world country is supposed to be run? We spend far too much time and money on our military. The rest of our society suffers due to this militarism.
