Sometimes I wonder if there is a line. We kill and eat everything except one another, Self interest?

If I could eat food that was not "life"--I would. But turkeys and pigs and carrots must die if I am to keep posting.

Growing up on the farm I actually had to kill food. It always made me feel like something inside me was being killed. It is why I still hold the idea that all sentience (and perhaps non-sentience) may have commonality.

It may sound trite, but Donne's "For Whom The Bell Tolls" always resonated with me. Life has been a tragedy for me because death has always surrounded me from morning till night. You will understand that. Most will not. Enough for today.

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.
