He was right in a number of cases but he through alegations and charges around with abandon and he wasn't always right. Some of his central contentions where correct but he was reckless and undiplomatic and went to far.

longshort,

But USSR records show McCarthy was right

What does right have to do with anything in the politically correct version of history?

Joe

What do you mean right? McCarthy went after people who had joined the communist party, a right enjoyed under our Bill of Rights. Through innuendo and out right lying, he slandered these people so that their careers were ended or badly damaged. Fortunately, his demagoguery only lasted three years when Eisenhower put a stop to it, and the drunken fool was dead by the age of 48.

Fifty years later, disgusting pervs like coulter are trying to rewrite history and paint him as a patriot. LMAO!

Joe McCarthy is an example of when the right goes amok. The right should be ashamed of his antics!
