How did you think I was trying to twist your words? I just pointed out that there were articles not related to this case that discussed studies about end of life starvation, and it was not painful.

You are welcome to whatever view you hold. You can believe that it is wrong to pull feeding tubes at the end of life. Asserting that starvation is painful when it is not is just a fact, and it is separate from your belief system. The way I determine my positions is to find out facts and then make my decisions based on that. Some people base their positions on faith, or deeply held convictions, or whatever. There is no one way to decide what you think, but I think it's unfair to say I'm twisting your words. I don't understand that.

That doctor from the Mayo Clinic did not examine Terri Schiavo, from what I have heard in the news. And last night on one of the cable news stations, the commentator said that even Mrs. Schindler accepts that Terri is in a persistent vegetative state.
