No its not life support. Life support is heart and lung machines. The severely retarded can't always eat and drink on their own. Terri can swallow on her own and I've seen nurses say so. You know the Nazis exterminated all the handicapped in Germany including the mentally retarded.

IMO, no. My father in law suffered an annuerism.. was comatose and had to be put on life support. After several weeks and much testing, his wife signed the order to be taken off the ventilator...etc.. He was "unplugged" and his heart stopped within 20 minutes., there was no change in brainwave activity during that time. Had he been able to sustain life his heart and breathing would have continued, at the very least.
