Agreed. This case stinks.

The larger point here is that there is existing laws that take care of most of these situations.

This is a rare case (my guess). There can't be that many people in PVS or on life support without means to communicate for more than 15 years and where family disagree on what to do.

Regardless. Currently we have 26 cases pending where detainees died in US military custody during rigorous interrogation (torture - my guess).

Even if you don't care about the detainees, how about the people involved in this situation.

Most of right-to-lifers do not want to even think about these cases, much less admonish those that are involved.
