As Jim pointed out, Ford is coming out with a hybrid SUV this year. However, its made with a Toyoto engine. Once again, Detroit is behind the curve. Of course, it doesn't help that the American gov't continues to subsidize cars by keeping the cost of gas low, unlike Japan and Europe.
