That is correct American's are just starting to pay for it now.Look through the table provided and see that the other countrys have been paying thru the nose for years, those listed are not the only ones. Ask yourself this..if American's were paying the average world price several years ago ...how many SUV's would have been built and would she be a little less dependant on foreign oil now?Could you imagine the positive effect that higher oil prices would have had on American ingenuity and Alternative energy..i have no doubt, we would have seen innovation in this area beyond imagination.
