I wonder which metro area will take the bigger hit, San Diego with little land but way overpriced or Phoenix with tons of land but moderately overpriced? Very similar situation in Florida with Miami/Ft Lauderdale versus Tampa/Orlando.

yuba city california. i think 5 or 6 years ago was voted worst city to live by somebody like money magazine or something. A RE banker today told me that (as of today) only 6 properties in yuba city were for sale below 300K. I was like. damn!. It's crazy because salaries are like 8 bucks an hour. and more than half of the population commute 50 miles to Sacramento or Roseville. (with gas at 2.45 a gallon) To top it off Median Home price rose 44 percent last year. Crazy.
