You don't get it...do you?

I get that you are in denial about the reality of Iraq, because it does not sort with your preconceived notions, even to the point of claiming that Iraqi pro-democracy bloggers must all be frauds. Question: what made 8 million Iraqis defy death threats to go the polls, if there is no pro-democracy movement in Iraq? Or do you also dismiss the 8 million voters as frauds, too?

I think your notions are out of tune with reality, and it's time to readjust them. Take comfort, you are not alone. Even The Independent recently ran a headline "Could Bush Be Right?". Now that must have really hurt.

Chalabi, btw, seems to have reinvented himself as an Iraqi politician quite nicely. In the new Iraq, this means having to go out and get voters. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to hear that he engineered the break with the Americans for this purpose. Chalabi is one slick pol.
