Henry, I think we can safely say that we have dodged both sars and H5N1 for the current influenza season in the northern hemisphere.

No doubt thanks to the great efforts of those in the front line in exterminating any suspected carriers of the H5N1 [I don't mean the people, just the birds].

Now, there's more time for vaccine development and better global co-operation in animal husbandry.

Yayy!!! Who's afraid of silly old flu? [I think it's good to gloat while the going's good - November might see me not gloating at all]
