Many in the right do not want to hear the other side. And if they do, they want someone from the right ready to put it down. They rely more on myth, preferably religious myth, than fact. Its clear to me that for a long time, they operated in the shadows. Any time they promoted their POV, people laughed at them. Now they have seized power and they demand they we listen to their myths. The news media is 'forced' to give their concepts more attention than they deserve.......and maybe for good reason. In a recent NBC poll, only 33% believe that evolution is responsible for the origin of man on the planet . A full 57% believe in creationism. I guess that says it all.
