Isn't that the truth? It's like watching Gulliver and the Lilliputians.

For a long time I have wondered why you bother to correspond with these meatheads

Incomprehensible as I find Orca's positions, such positions are held by a number of people, some of whom I read and others I know personally. Normally, I would not class these people as either meatheads or lunatics, so I am having trouble understanding what is driving their current positions. Irrational hatred of anything Bush likes is an answer, but only a partial one. Support of transnational progressivm as Fonte calls it*, which they like to call "international law", is also only a partial explanation.

So I am trying to test if their positions are susceptible to being moved by argument and evidence. Maybe I can figure out what is making otherwise rational people come out with functionally pro-Saddam and pro-insurgent positions in the process.
