Look, we chase Bobby Fischer to the ends of the earth, for what? We ban Cat Stevens from entering the country for being a "threat" to the nation. Yet we sell high-technology and do other business with Pakistan, a country that has sold nuclear secrets to rogue nations (libya and n. korea are two examples) and perhaps (likely) to terrorist organizations. Fine, sell them the technology, the Pakistanis will put the knowledge to good use ($$$), as they have in the past.
