I won't go that far. Let's call it a group effort. :)

Without US material aid, Britain and Russia would have been in worse shape early on. That would have delayed the eventual collapse of the Wehrmacht. Who knows what would have happened if the Nazis had an extra year to work on rockets, jet planes, and the bomb. Recent information says that the Nazis were in the early stages of testing a nuclear device...

The war was basically over when the USA entered,as Germany had suffered tremendous loses on their trek to conquer Moscow. The USA was left to deal with Japan.

The war was neither almost over when US entered, nor would it have been in the condition it was in except for the Lend Lease Act. It is egalitarian of you to be inclusive about the cause for leftist Nazi Germany's defeat. It is possible that the rest of the world would have destroyed the National Socialists without help from America. Without America's arms and soldiers the war would have drug out for many more years.

All of the Allies, from the French resistance to Canada and the far flung British empire contributed to the destruction of the Nazis. I personally know of no one who believes that the US was responsible for the victory. We were a big part of it, but we weep for all of the dead who fell in the name of freedom.

But in America, we're mostly taught that we won WWII on our own.

That is not what I was taught. Of course they still taught history then. History texts were more accurate and less biased then.
