Yes, there are many functioning people on feeding tubes. So what? What does that have to do with one non-functioning person on a feeding tube? Seems to me a non-functioning person on a feeding tube has more in common with a non-functioning person on a respirator than with a functioning person on a feeding tube. The type of life support for non-functioning persons is only marginally more relevant than what color hair they have. Functioning persons have nothing to do with this. Sun and Terri were both non-functioning people on life support, albeit different forms of life support whose lives ended according to law.
