Terri Schiavo is NOT bleeding from her eyes and tongue, and her skin is not peeling off. I have been watching all the cable news channels for days because I don't feel like doing anything more energetic, and have come to to conclusion that the Schindler family and their supporters are willing to lie, cheat, and malign to try to force their version of reality on a gullible public. They also said Michael Schiavo was a wife beater and a murderer, and that he killed his wife. They have told so many lies that in my opinion they have absolutely no credibility left. Obviously, Terri's brother hopes that by lying about what is happening with his sister, Jeb Bush will intervene and essentially kidnap her and have the feeding tube reinserted. But Bush has already signaled that he isn't going to break the law, so all the family is doing now in my opinion is making it clear that they have no morals or ethics at all. That pathetic suit they filed yesterday in desperation trying to convince the judge that Terri, who has no conscious brain function, tried to signal that she wanted to live is just more of their hype and garbage.

Fox TV has been especially despicable re their coverage of this event. One of their "reporters", a woman whose last name is Banderas, is so biased that they ought to take her off this story. There is nothing "fair and balanced" about this coverage at all.

Many, if not most, people die this way, Ish. If you are dying of old age or a disease, unless it is something sudden like cardiac arrest, you are going to die this way, as well. It is entirely normal and natural that people at the end of life stop eating and drinking fluids. I laid next to my mother for about two weeks while she was dying this way, and I can tell you, as any hospice publication would as well, that it is a peaceful way to go. You just to into a deeper and deeper sleep as time goes on.
