I think the NRA should continue to push the idea of arming teachers. It goes right to the essence of the NRA's view of gun responsibility. :)

The NRA has a history of fighting almost every attempt to put reasonable laws on the books to keep guns off the street. I would not call this a 'responsible organization' just because they conduct gun safety courses while doing their best to keep guns on the street.
