Don't worry about it, we're told that dying of thirst and starvation is painless. So next time you see a commercial about all those starving kids in Africa, don't worry about that either... It's painless if you don't have a brain. In humans (unlike cockroaches) pain messages must travel up the nerves to the brain to register. If you don't have a brain, they can't register. The kids in Africa do have brains.
