I can't say that I feel sorry for Libertarians at all. I think whatever belief system you choose, you take responsibility for defending, and also accept responsibility for the consequences of that belief system. Bush has turned out to be very unpredictable and a believer in huge government, in a strange and grandiose way. I think a lot of people got duped by him. I drove by our Libertarian party headquarters yesterday, and the whole front of the building was covered with duct tape and plywood. Totally sealed up! I'm not sure what happened--it looked like a car crashed right through the front door, or a bulldozer or something. There is a huge storm here, so it was a big wet mess. I promise I didn't do it!
