No.... before the war started people like Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz were saying we'd be out in a few weeks or months

Seriously? You have any links to support this claim? All I have ever heard is the "as long as it takes and not a day longer" shpiel. Or shpeel? How does one spell schpiel?

>>before the war started people like Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz were saying we'd be out in a few weeks or months, and Cheney said our troops would be greeted with flowers (indicating the people would all be happy to be liberated and that they fighting would be over).

I don't know what everybody is complaining about. There is no war. Therefore there are no war crimes. (congress never declared anything) I think the only way to dry up whatever we are doing in iraq is stop printing money. stop paying the troops. if there is no war (and no rule of law for that matter) how can the troops be forced to follow orders i guess.

it's like here dude. u r on your own. take this gun and walk around that village and see if anybody shoots at u.

it's like here dude. gas is 3 bucks a gallon so take this humvee that gets 6 miles to the gallon and drive it up and down the streets and see if anybody shoots at u.

it's like here dude. abu gabi never happened and we aren't going to prosecute anyone for anything because then they come after (all of) us. haul us away to the looney bin because we are dumb as a rock to believe what the pentagon is telling us.

(job justification is job one u know)

it's like here dude. we want to help terry shiavo because that shows we have compassion for blowing the f*ck out of all those iraqis. and maybe the italians will like us too or something.

it's like here dude. we have no reporters left in the ME so we can do what ever we want. say whatever we want. shoot whoever we want. rape and pillage whoever and whatever we want. we aren't accountable to anybody. but terry shiavo is an innocent victim of her surcumstances so we will fight for her.

pathetic.
