PARIS (AFP) - Global powers are scrambling to do business in Central Asia due to its vast oil reserves and other natural resources, despite the remoteness and tensions in the region that includes the former Soviet republics of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
