<<p.s. Jill: spare us the BS. The person getting “creepy” here (your word) is you.>>

Really? Why? Don't you want to make $? Why do you even bother coming to a board for a company you don't care about or invest in?

Usually that m.o. is reserved for those who are short, maybe you are who knows.

Oops… make that “choose” rather than “chose.”

dew,
You state...
"
gfp: If you want something mundane, there are hundreds of fine companies to chose from that do not have to rely on hand waving to explain their business model.

In my experience, when people invest in a company because they think it is solving a major societal problem --as TexasDude admits to doing— that can be a red flag.

You have previously stated here on SI that a penny biotech stock is one of your favorite stocks even though it is having financial difficulty, laid off 30% of their employees last year, delaying their drug development efforts because of their lack of money, submitting their drug for approval in Europe and not the US even though they are domiciled here in the US, had their drug hung up in Europe by one delay after another(latest just a few weeks ago even though it was filed for approval over a year ago, thus again causing them to admit they would have to move back their potential launch date) AND considering they are working on a drug that addresses THE MAJOR SOCIETAL PROBLEM OF MALARIA is this a case of you blowing smoke out of both ends? Help me out! Obviously you don't have a problem with mundane companies and societal driven issue solving companies for yourself, just other investors.

Congratulations on solving your personal "societal" problem of selective food consumption. Guess this means we can also take you off the potential list of the millions of Americans suffering from diabetes (and growing by about 10% a year).

And in closing on this issue of solving a societal issue, I can assure you that once you drive in an automobile or fly in a plane you will enjoy it. I bet you have worn out many a pair of shoes in all your walking...oops! Guess you don't wear shoes as you are so cautious of such "mundane" "societal" red flags like why shoes were invented.

Have a nice day!!!!

Dew,
Yes, I bring up GTCB to merely point out that you consistenly contradict yourself as to what is a good investment. GTCB is a near bankrupt penny stock that you offer up as a good investment. GTCG has lost about 70% of its value from the 52 week high, whereas SNMX has doubled its share prices for investors. You fault SNMX because you can't place a value on its potential revenue stream..but then you have no problem obviously placing a value on a penny stock that JUST can't seem to get those darn Europeans to buy into what they have submitted for their approval..whereas, SNMX got approval in a mere three months.

But enough on GTCB, lets look at all four of the NON-mundane stocks that you state here on SI are your favorite stocks. Those being GTCB, PFE, DNDN, and TEVA. Let's look at TEVA and PFE and juxtapose these stocks against what you state is a red flag for your investment goals. Let me quote what you said.."In my experience, when people invest in a company because they think it is solving a major societal problem --as TexasDude admits to doing— that can be a red flag. " One of PFE's major drug is Norvasc. And Norvasc is used for controlling one's blood pressure...whereas you solve this societal issue by merely selecting a better diet. Now lets move to the PR released today by TEVA and the new drug approval that they just received...and guess what their drug is a generic for? Yep! None other than Norvasc. Do you see where I'm going with this DEW? You fault SNMX for the fact they could prevent a person for even having high blood pressure in the first place because they are solving a major societal problem that causes you to see red flags, whereas you have no problem investing in a company that has a drug that attempts to ameliorate a problem that they wouldn't even have if SNMX product does what it is attempting to do. How cynical can one person be? Why is it that you can promote drug companies that attempts to medicate a condition that could merely be solved by your self-proclaimed solution of better food selection? Why all those red flag aversions for a company that could prevent a condition in the first place, but no red flags for drug companies that attempt to solve a medical condition that could have been avoided in the first place?

I tell you what DEW! Why don't you start a thread here on SI. Let me suggest a possible name for your thread...DEW DELIGIENCE's HOME FOR RED FLAG AVERSIONS Hypocrisy! or better yet..DEW DELIGIENCE the Vacilator: Who's farts don't stink and if you don't believe it just ask him.

<<<(A personal aside about salt: I had 150/90 BP a couple of years ago and went off salt for two weeks, which brought the BP reading down to 130/65. I did not need any newfangled technology to do it – it was as simple as choosing better foods.)>>

That's interesting and exactly the point of snmx, taking the bad stuff out without compromising taste, making bad foods better. Thanks for the apt example.
