Unless I missed the joke, I am not sure how you came to that conclusion.

I said that homebuyers are no longer putting a risk-premium on home prices. I still do, hence I can't justify prices in my area at the very least.

That game is soon coming to an end - at least the New York suburbs - it's quite obvious when you look at current inventories versus what they have been in the peak months of summer in the last 5 years.
