Here you've spoken as though I said "2 decades" ago. I did not. Why twist my words like that? My mother was still in her 40's, I think, indeed perhaps in her thirties as I was her third child and born when she was thirty. It's a story I heard the day I posted it to you, much closer to when it happened, and in-between. It's never changed. I'm also quite confident the physician confirmed she got the conversation accurately though "out," as she's told the story in his AND my confirming presence, to boot. My apologies.
