. I wonder if he meant watch groups who called border patrol to arrest these people? I think Bush did. He has a real hangup about closing the border. It is a major error, IMO. If a good Republican candidate makes that a major issue in the Presidential primaries, it could put him over the top. People are fed up.

John, Look for the following changes. A significant increase in border security personnel in Arizona. A sharp increase in high-tech resources for the Coast Guard. I also hear Coastie helicopters are being armed. I expect much more. DHS is due for a shake-up now that they finally have some experienced operators in the leadership positions. The previous leadership had no vision. The initial allocation of resources by DHS was not designed to protect America from terrorist attacks. It was designed to try to prevent one attack, another 9/11. uw
